How to introduce myself in English

This practice is to help you introduce yourself properly in English

when you go abroad or are in situations like job interviews and social gatherings

 

First of all ,

I am very pleased to have an opportunity to introduce myself to you.

(= I have a pleasure to introduce myself to you

= Let me introduce myself to you))

 

My name is __. I'm __ years old.

 

I am from Korea

.

I was born and lived in Mu-ju in Jeorra-puk-do until 10 years old.

and moved to Seoul.

 

My native place has a population of about five thousand. and most of

the villagers are farmers.

 

Though they are not rich, they lived a contented and cozy life.

In a sense they are proud of being honest farmers in a quiet and beautiful village.

 

Even though I`ve lived in Seoul for so many years now,and feel quite at home here,

sometimes I feel like going back to my birthplace and getting along

with my old friends there..

 

 

I have 4 members in my family, my lovely wife, son, daughter and me.

I have been married for 26 years.

 

My wife is a house wife in her early fifties.

She is a bit conservative and shy, but she is very sentimental.

She has short curly hair. I love her very much.

 

My son is 26 years old, my daughter is 24 years old.

 

My family love and takes good care of each other.

We love to travel together as well.

We have been to European countries such as Italy, spain and swiss for family trip.

 

I'm open-minded and interpersonal.

 

I’m interested in learning foreign languages and history.

That’s why I have joined English club and studied English with club members

every Thursday evening.

 

About ten members of our club, who are most beautiful ladies and handsome gentlemen,

are getting together at cozy and comfortable study room near Jam-sil sports complex.

helping and encouraging one another.

 

My dream, at this time, is to master English conversation

because English is not a optional but an essential tool to live with

in this global age.

 

I’ll do my best to make my dream come true.
